An artifact from my educational work has been selected to exhibit each ISLLC standard.
ISLLC Standards
The ISLLC 2008 Policy Standards are designed to serve as a broad foundation for describing the functions of effective educational leadership that states, districts, organizations, and policy-makers can use as a national model for developing their own standards and policies for improving the educational leadership profession. The Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards have recently been developed by the Council of Chief State School Officers in collaboration with the National Policy Board on Educational Administration (NPBEA) to help strengthen preparation programs in school leadership (Van Meter & Murphy, 1997). The Program in Educational Leadership uses the ISLLC standards as a requirement for the student's Learning Portfolio. (Retrieved from: http://coe.fgcu.edu/faculty/valesky/isllcstandards.htm)
